Do surgeons and anatomic/clinical pathologist do duplicate amount of schooling?

more or less?
Surgeons and pathologists are both MD's, and yes the amount of schooling is approximately one and the same. Both would have to do 4 years of college, 4 years of medical arts school, and residency.
The basic surgical residency is 5 years.
I believe pathology residency is 4 years but near may be some variation depending on whether you do anatomic/ clinical or both.
In any specialty you can do additional training (fellowship) after completion of residency.
Just nearly, one is an MD, the other is a Ph.D.Schooling is about alike for both.
medicine and strength guarantee correctness , is for informational purposes only counsel or treatment for any medical conditions.
