Do sexual cell bear mitosis??

Please help, I inevitability it for my science homework.
Thx!
No, they undergo meiosis.
they put up with meiosis.. - if they underwent mitosis the gametes would be 2n, consequently the egg + sperm would not be viable - you cannot have 4n. the number of chromosomes have to halve (become n) to be viable and back up with 2n when the sperm and egg fuse together. for this they own to undergo meiosis - within mitosis two identical 2n cell are formed.
